Referee Re-registration

Re-Registration

Preparing for the new season

All Referees are required to register each season with the Oxfordshire FA.

The registration process will be completed through the Whole Game System.

The Whole Game System provides referees at all levels with a comprehensive online administration package, with some appointing and discipline reporting being directed through the portal. This means referees at grassroots level can now enjoy many of the online processes currently available to colleagues operating at the highest levels of the game.

To access the Whole Game System you will need to know your FA Number (FAN); if you have forgotten your FAN or password you will be able to retrieve this online.

Please note an annual registration fee of £20.00 is required.

All Referees who have registered by 31st May will be eligible for:

  • Appointments to FA Cup matches
  • Appointments to Oxfordshire FA County Cup matches
  • Appointments to Representative matches

If you have any queries with regards to registration please get in touch with us.

To safeguard the game and yourself, leagues and clubs are only allowed to us registered referees. Therefore, to referee you must be registered.

We can only offer our support to registered referees. If you are un-registered you will not be entitled to any support from the County FA, or referee in any county affiliated football activity.
It costs £20 to register or re-register as a referee.
We encourage all referees to register online. Doing so will enable you to manage and edit your personal details and football preferences. However, if you are unable to access our online system, we can provide assistance. Get in touch with us for more information.

In order to access your online account you will require your FAN and password. If you cannot remember your password then please use the forgotten password function on the home page. Please do not create a new FAN – if you can still not access your FAN please email Support@OxfordshireFA.com

This probably means the FAN and/or Email address used to login has not been linked to your refereeing qualifications or that you may either changed your emails address or you have more than 1 FAN , in such cases please do not use any other options that may appear but email Support@OxfordshireFA.com for help.

Match Officials aged 16 or over that intend to officiate any youth football for season 2019/20 will not be able to register until they have an Accepted and in date FA DBS. Therefore, if you intend to referee any Youth (U18 and below) football please contact Support@OxfordshireFA.com and we will then send you information on how renew (or get your first one if you have recently turned 16) your DBS check. Please note you will not be able to register until you have completed your DBS renewal.

If you are looking to leave the Oxfordshire FA area to study in other parts of the country then please let us know where you will be studying as there is a process which we need to go through to support you registering with another County FA. Once this has been completed, you will receive details of your nearest County FA and Referee Development Officer who will then be able to support you with your refereeing whilst away with your studies.

For any referee that maybe deciding to hang up the whistle at the end of the Football Season please can we please ask that you let us know by email Support@OxfordshireFA.com or calling the Referee Support Manager on 01993 894404 during office hours so that we can then update our system and provide you with the details of our future workforce opportunities for next season. We will have a number of training opportunities available during pre-season to become a Referee Coach, Mentor and/or Referee Observer so it would be great to get as many of our match officials involved as possible to support the various programmes we have planned for next season.

If you do not wish to renew your referee registration for the new season then please let us know at your earliest opportunity so we can then remove your details and referee qualifications from the system. To assist us with our future recruitment and retention strategies it would be greatly appreciated if you could email Support@OxfordshireFA.com explaining in a few words your reasons, or alternative call the Referee Support Manager on 01993 778586 during office hours to discuss this further. As said this information will be used to help us with future recruitment, development and retention strategies.
