Sports Hygiene

STAY HEALTHY. KEEP ACTIVE.

The FA has supported the development of the new ‘Good Hygiene for Sport and Physical Activity Guide’, which is now available for download along with accompanying materials at:

Click here to download the Ground Management Association's resources

The guide has been developed in conjunction with Public Health England, Sport England, the National Centre for Sport & Exercise Medicine in Sheffield, and The Centre for Sport and Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University; as well as The Football Association; Football Foundation; Rugby Football Union; Rugby Football League; England Hockey; The Institute of Groundsmanship; The Sports and Play Construction Association; Premier League and The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS).

Good hygiene is paramount for health and wellbeing of people taking part in activity at all sports participation facilities so please download the materials and implement the advice within the guide.

There are a number of images available for download that can be printed and displayed at your club facility or shared digitally on your website or social media channels.

These materials are available to any organisation to download, so please do share with others who may benefit from their use.
