Thame United Under 17 Boys (2023-24 season)

Are you currently in Year 11 and will be in Year 12 next year? Thame United Boys U17s will be looking for new players next season to play in our Under 17 teams. We currently run 3 teams in the age group and are looking to continue with 3 teams next year. At present two of our teams train on a Thursday and one on a Friday. We are a friendly, welcoming club with fantastic facilities, including an onsite full size 3G pitch, which we use for training. We play in the South Bucks League. OXFORD ATHLETIC FC

Oxford Athletic FC are looking for new players to join our U6, U7, U8, U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14 and U15 teams!

Oxford Athletic FC are setting up grassroots teams for the 2023/24 season. We train at Swan School in Marston, Oxford.  

We provide a safe and fun environment; we aim to educate and develop each individual physically, psychologically, technically, tactically and socially. Players will also receive individual development plans to monitor their progress over the course of the season.

Each team will train twice a week (Mon and Wed 18:00-19:00) and will have a head coach as well as an assistant coach.

WITNEY VIKINGS UNDER 12 GIRLS

Witney Vikings are looking to form a second U12s girls team for the 2023/24 season (starting in September). This will be for current Year 6 girls. All positions are required.

We will hold open training sessions from Tuesday 18th April through to Tuesday 23rd May from 6pm-7.30pm at Burwell Recreation Ground in Witney. If your daughter is interested in playing football for a team, please come along and give it a go!

CHERWELL STROLLERS - OVER 50s WANTED

Cherwell Strollers Walking Football Club has an A Team and B Team in the Thames Valley Walking Football League at Bisham Abbey in Marlow. Additionally we have an Over 50s and Over 60s team which compete in the Oxfordshire Walking Football League during the summer.

We also enter teams into various tournaments in surrounding counties.

Walking football has grown enormously since Cherwell Strollers started in 2014 and at representative level is very competitive and challenging. The standard of teams has improved considerably over the years and the amount of skill displayed by some of the players is outstanding. As a number of our players are getting older we are seeking to recruit players of a good footballing standard with a view to representing the club in various competitions. We are particularly short of players in the 50 - 58 age range.

We train at The Dewey Sports Centre in Bloxham currently on Sunday mornings at 10.30, although this moves to a midweek evening in the summer.
