AGM Date Confirmed - Register Attendance / Vote by Proxy

Register to join us at our AGM on 27 June 2024 at Kidlington FC, or to vote for our elected director by proxy.

Our next Annual General Meeting will be held at Kidlington Football Club at 18:30 on 27 June 2024.

Before we proceed with the formal agenda items, David Tutton will welcome everyone and Jonathan Duckworth will give an update on the key themes for our new 4-year Strategic Plan in response to the thoughts and feedback we asked everyone for earlier this year.

In hereby inviting a representative from each of our affiliated club and league membership to that 27 June 2024 Annual General Meeting. The details of the meeting and how to register your attendance, or vote by proxy, are available here.

Prior to the AGM applications for nominees for the role of Elected Director were sought as Brian King, in completing his current 3-year term, decided not to seek re-election.

The only notification received prior to the 4 June 2024 deadline was that Eddie Odihambo now wishes to be considered for that role. Details of his candidacy are attached and available here.

Eddie Odhiambo

Eddie locally represented Oxford United, Oxford City, Banbury United and Brackley Town as a player during his football career, as well as later coaching at Kidlington and managing North Leigh. In addition to management and safeguarding qualifications he is a UEFA A licence coach who has also worked in successful community football programme delivery for Brackley Town and Northampton Town. 

He then spent 4 years as the Head of Year at a school in Didcot before becoming the Academy Head of Player Care for Oxford United. In 2023 he became the Head of Football at Velocity - Oxford City responsible for ensuring that young people have an inclusive football-based progression pathway with relevant educational qualifications and career opportunities. 

He is a member of the Oxfordshire Football Association steering group promoting best practice engagement and development for young volunteers at our local football clubs as well as creating innovative sports-based apprenticeship opportunities. Safeguarding, Wellbeing, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion are at the heart of everything Eddie does and he always aims to being constructive challenge and an open mind to helping ensure positive and sustainable football development throughout the county. 

In accordance with Resolution 4, ratification is sought for the 27 June 2024 AGM of this Elected Director appointment. 

Any member who is not attending the AGM and has registered to vote via proxy beforehand must still submit their votes online using the ballot form provided by 12 noon on 26 June 2024 so that it can be counted. If you have appointed a proxy, they can gain admission by showing their identification which must match that proxy attendance form.
