Female Coaching

Develop Female Coaches at your Club

Through the Oxfordshire FA Community Champion, now is the perfect time to increase the number of female coaches at your club.

Jonathan Hooper, Oxfordshire FA Community Champion is available to work with clubs to support an increase in the number of female coaches.

jonathan hooperIt could be working with mums who stand on the sidelines watching their children play, to working with older girls teams, and women’s teams. Jonathan can deliver a “Stepping over the Sidelines” workshop which aims to introduce coaching to women who either haven’t taken the first step, or who perhaps haven’t considered it before.

This can then lead to more bespoke support on a small group, or 1-2-1 basis, to help them get started with teams, supporting more experienced coaches, or working with groups such as Wildcats.

This is a perfect first step for female coaches, and as we seek to redress the balance of coaching in Oxfordshire, and increase the number of female role models for younger players, we’re looking for clubs who want to take a proactive role with their teams.

This opportunity is completely free, so if your club is looking to increase the number of female coaches it has, get in touch today on Development@OxfordshireFA.com
