OFA Engaging Diverse Ethnic Communities Coaching Project launched

We are launching a new coaching project which aims to engage individuals from diverse ethnic communities and backgrounds in the county.

We are excited to launch a new coaching project for the coming season which aims to engage and support individuals from ethnically diverse communities in the county.

The project will feature a series of workshops throughout 2023-24 that are designed to not only support individuals that are already coaching in grassroots football in the county but also to recruit and engage new people into coaching roles.

This project is part of our total commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and are ambition to increase the breadth of our grassroots football coaching workforce across the county by engaging individuals from diverse ethnic communities and backgrounds in Oxford, Banbury and the wider county.

We are delighted that Abdoullah Kheir from The FA and local UEFA B coach Waheed Ramzan will be delivering the series of workshops throughout the season.

Abdoullah and Waheed have designed programme of content that will provide individuals with bespoke support to develop and thrive over the coming season.

To kick things off, we will be delivering two workshops in Banbury and Oxford.
