Business Support Officer

Salary: £25,000-£26,000 per annum dependent on experience
Contract: Full time – 37.5 hours per week with some evenings & weekends. Initial contract until 30th June 2024

About the Role

Oxfordshire FA is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated person with excellent communication skills and attention to detail to take our County Cup Competitions to the next level. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing, promoting and delivering our portfolio of 17 competitions spanning the male and female, youth and adult game and including the Oxfordshire Senior Cup, our premier competition, which was first contested in 1885.

As well as delivering on our competitions programme the successful applicant will also be providing support to the Association across our business functions as well as working with our clubs, leagues and other stakeholders.

We are therefore seeking a person who would be passionate in those areas and has a drive to help others.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisation skills, experience in the delivery and administration of projects and/or events and be adaptable to the demands of the role. At the Final stages of the Competitions then there would need to be flexible working to cover evening and weekend events.

About Oxfordshire FA

Oxfordshire FA is the local governing body for football covering most of Oxfordshire. Our role is simple; to develop and govern football for all.

These are exciting times for the County FA as we support football’s response from lockdowns and having just delivered the first year of our three-year Strategy. Interest in the game has also risen following the success of the England Lionesses during the summer. The successful candidate for this role will be instrumental in helping the County FA to achieve our ambitions.
