Thame United FC Inclusive Youth Football Taster Event

Thame United to Host Summer Inclusive Football

Taster session to be hosted on 18 July.

Thame United FC has announced that, from this summer, inclusive Football will be coming to the club, starting with a ‘Free Taster Session’ this July.

Working with Oxfordshire FA, Thame United FC and Craig Faulconbridge will be planning, organising and delivering inclusive football sessions for all boys and girls who currently do not have the opportunity or facility to do so.

Delivered on the brand new 3G facility at Thame, these sessions will give all participants the opportunity to take part regardless of ability, and do so in an environment that is safe and inclusive.

Craig Faulconbridge, who is heading the project, is thrilled to provide more opportunities to even more children in the area, local villages and towns.

Michael Thurlow, Football Development Manager at Oxfordshire FA, commented: “We are excited to be working with Thame United to establish inclusive football for young people, both in Thame and the surrounding areas. We firmly believe that the game is For All – and projects like the one being hosted by Thame United helps provide more opportunities for players across the county.”

This inclusive disability football session is for all, regardless of learning or physical difficulty. Thame United are welcoming all boys & girls aged 5 – 15 years old to get involved.

The taster will take place on Monday 18 July, from 5:00pm - 6:00pm.
