Volunteer of the Year and Youth Coach of the Year Revealed

Oxfordshire FA is proud to recognise two of our volunteers for their exceptional work in the community.

Back in May, Oxfordshire FA asked our local football community to nominate their grassroots heroes for the 2021 FA and McDonald's Grassroots Football Awards.

Over the coming weeks, we will be revealing the winners of this year's accolades, starting today as we announce the winners of the Volunteer of the Year Award and Youth Coach of the Year.

Adam Robinson – Volunteer of the Year

Adam coaches a disability team with Bure Park, which has grown to have 18 regular members. Adam set up the team after moving to the area and realising there was no disabled team in the town. Adam also volunteers on the committee for the BOBi League, in which his Bure Park side plays.

Kevin Juggins – Youth Coach of the Year

In addition to being chairman of the club, Kevin coaches two teams and supports three others at Rose Hill Youth Football Club. He always ensures all players are included and encourages everybody with his coaching. The players have a smile on their face whatever the result, which comes from the culture Kevin has created.

Oxfordshire FA would like to congratulate both Adam and Kevin and thank them for all their hard work.
