Oxfordshire FA (OFA) are welcoming applications from young leaders, volunteers and players across the county to join the Oxfordshire FA Youth Leadership Team for the 2021-22 season. 

Offering a voice to children and young people in the county, the Youth Leadership Team (YLT) aims to improve football through offering opinions and advice, delivering projects, running events and developing new programmes to help shape football within the county. 

The OFA are looking for 14-24 year olds who would like to be involved in this team and have a passion to help shape how football is run within Oxfordshire. 

Over the past 24 months, the YLT have developed a number of projects, including a highly successful Volunteer Appreciation Programme which allows clubs and leagues to put forward nominations for a monthly award for our most dedicated volunteers. 

The group have also worked with Oxfordshire FA staff to consult with young people across the county. The aim was to find out young people's experiences in football since the first lockdown and understand what changes they would like to see to improve their involvement in the game. The feedback will help shape work of Oxfordshire FA and Youth Leadership Team throughout 2021-22.

Oxfordshire FA are looking for new members that can join the team and can support with some of the exciting projects for the new season!

• Youth Consultation
• Respect Campaign
• Supporting with festivals and events
• And more!

• Monday 8 November 2021, 6:30pm – 8pm
• Monday 13 December 2021, 6:30pm – 8pm
• Monday 10 January 2022, 6:30pm – 8pm
• Monday 7 February 2022, 6:30pm – 8pm
• Monday 7 March 2022, 6:30pm – 8pm
• Monday 11 April 2022, 6:30pm – 8pm
• Monday 9 May 2022, 6:30pm – 8pm
• Monday 6 June 2022, 6:30pm – 8pm

Please note that meetings will be held virtually to start the season with a move to hold these in person when safe and allowed to do so.

All face-to-face meetings will be held at the Oxfordshire FA Headquarters, Unit 4, Witan Park, Avenue 2, Station Lane in Witney.

There will be informal interviews for those that have been shortlisted. Anyone aged U18 must be joined by a parent or guardian.
