Oxfordshire FA to co-host an FA Referees Course specifically for aspiring female referees.

Oxfordshire FA is delighted to announce that it will be hosting an FA Referees Course specifically for aspiring female officials within the county.

Hosted in partnership with our colleagues and Berks & Bucks FA, the course will provide female learners with an introduction to the laws of the game as well as developing the practical skills required to be a football referee.

Commencing on Wednesday 9 October with an opening session at Berks & Bucks’ headquarters in Abingdon, the course will be run over five modules, including the completion of six matches as a trainee referee; two of which should be observed by a referee coach.

Following the opening session, the course will run on four dates at Abingdon United Football Club.

This course is ideally suited for females wanting to become a referee involved in the 11-a-side game both in youth and adult football.

The course will also be on offer at the discounted rate of just £100.
