Female Coaches

Female Coaches Invited to Forum in April

A great opportunity for existing, new and prospective female coaches in Oxfordshire.

Female coaches, or females within the county interested in taking up coaching, are invited to attend Oxfordshire FA’s Female Coach Forum, which is to take place on 25 April at Summertown Stars AFC.

The forum will provide the perfect opportunity to learn more about coaching in a friendly, relaxed environment – in addition to the chance to network and take part in discussions with other female coaches across Oxfordshire.

The session will be led by the County FA’s Coach Mentor, Katie Wales, who is also heading up the Association’s Female Coach Development Programme.

In addition to the above, the forum will see those in attendance given time for discussion as a group about any coaching points or queries – and look for solutions.

Oxfordshire FA is also encouraging coaches to bring friends, family, colleagues or relatives of their players who also may be interested in coaching, so that the County FA can continue to increase the number of female coaches within Oxfordshire.

Here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know:

When: Thursday 25 April 2019, 7.00pm – 9.00pm
Where: Summertown Stars AFC, Lower Pavilion, Cutteslowe Park, Harbord Road, Oxford, OX2 8LH
