Youth Leadership Team

Applications Open To Join Youth Leadership Team

Provide the voice for young people in Oxfordshire - apply to join our Youth Leadership Team.

Youth Leaders, Volunteers and Players across the county are invited to join the Oxfordshire FA Youth Leadership Team.

Offering a voice to children and young people in the county, the Youth Leadership Team (YLT) aims to improve football through offering opinions and advice, and running events.

We’re looking for 14-24 year-olds to become involved with the team to support its growth and the impact that it has on the county’s football outlook.

Last season, the YLT were involved with the county’s first-ever Adult Respect Weekend, planning the event from start to finish and supporting across the weekend’s fixtures. They also set up a Youth Referee Development Day to support the transition of referees from youth football, into the adult game.

Example projects for the new season could include:

  • Youth Engagement projects
  • Youth Leadership Days
  • Volunteer Recognition Event
  • Supporting with festivals and events
  • And more!

The benefits of being part of the team includes:

  • Discounted OFA Courses
  • Access to CPD Training Workshops run by Oxfordshire FA
  • Mentoring
  • Opportunity to attend the FA Leadership Academy at St. George’s Park (Application)
