Women's Summer League 2018

Revamped Womens Summer League Open for Applications

New Season. New Divisions. New Venue.

Oxfordshire FA are delighted to announce the addition of a second division to our successful Women's Summer League.

The changes, as well as reducing the format from 6-a-side to 5-a-side, have been introduced due to the increased popularity and high levels of interest the league has generated in recent years. Not only does the expansion of the league mean we can offer more playing opportunities for women already participating in the game on a regular basis, but we are now able to meet the demand for additional opportunities for new players and teams who want to get involved in football for the first time.

The League structure this year will consist of two divisions, a:

Premier Division - featuring 12 teams across a nine week league (eight games) and a
Division One - featuring eight teams across a nine week league (eight games)

The divisions split this year will enable there to be a strong competitive element, but also maintain the recreational atmosphere for newer teams and groups of friends who want to enter. All fixtures will take place at the League's new home for this season; the Oxford Academy School in Littlemore on their new 3G pitch.
