Female Coaches

Apply to be on this season's Female Coach Development Programme

Female Coaches are again invited to apply to be part of this season’s cohort

We’re inviting up to 10 female coaches to take part in this season’s Female Coach Development Programme where they will receive mentoring and bespoke coach development workshops.

Coaches can come from any part of the community and are encouraged from all areas of football including male, female and disability football, as well as those involved with the Wildcats programme. Coaches are also invited to apply to be part of the programme regardless of coaching level. Whether you’re a new coach who is yet to gain their level one, or an aspiring UEFA B coach, this programme will be able to suit your needs.

During the programme, each coach will receive free support from Oxfordshire FA Coach Mentor Katie Wales: “It was great to be part of the programme last season and see so many coaches develop. I look forward to working with more coaches this season to continue to grow the network of female coaches in Oxfordshire.”

Football Development Officer James Shiplee said: “The first year of the programme was a great success and we’re looking for another cohort of coaches to come and receive mentoring from Katie, and look forward to welcoming last year’s coaches to the coach development workshops too as we build the pyramid of female coaches in the county.”

So if you’re a female coach and wanting to improve, make sure you get your application in before the Friday 17th August!
