Oxfordshire FA is delighted to announce the date and first tutor for the annual Coaches Conference on 3rd June 2018.
The date of the annual Oxfordshire FA Coaches Conference has been confirmed and we already have some great tutors lined up to deliver various workshops at the event.
The theme this season for the conference will be the Coaching Fundamentals from the FA’s England DNA.
The first tutor we are pleased to announce is Peter Sturgess who is the FA’s Foundation Phase lead. He has worked for the FA since 2005 but from 2008-2015 was the coach of the England futsal team and had an integral part in the shaping of the new FA Level 3 Course.
Peter has since provided a valuable service to the England DNA by creating the Foundation Phase DNA; a useful tool that all grassroots coaches can use to help their teams to develop. We can’t wait to welcome Peter and look forward to his workshop which, undoubtedly, will give you lots of ideas and enthusiasm to take back to your team.
Alongside Peter we will also welcome four other guest tutors and some familiar faces from around the County, which will be announced over the coming months.
