Join Us in Supporting Rainbow Laces
Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign, promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion in our game, celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2023.
Oxfordshire FA will once again be supporting Rainbow Laces this year, with Stonewall’s fortnight of action celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2023.
Since Rainbow Laces kicked off in 2013, over 1M people nationwide have laced up to show support of LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport, fitness and physical activity.
Now, Stonewall is asking the world of sport to Lace Up to Keep It Up.
The aim of this year’s campaign is to keep up raising awareness, keep up supporting each other, and keep up pushing to make sure sport – namely football in our case – is for everyone in Oxfordshire.
Oxfordshire FA has already reached out to clubs competing in a selected County Cup competition during the fortnight of action – however, a small supply of Rainbow Laces are available to our wider grassroots football community.
