We are delighted to be launching two virtual CPD Webinars for Oxfordshire FA Affiliated Clubs that will take place in December and January.

Throughout the 2020/21 season we aim to provide our clubs with additional training, guidance and support via virtual forums with a focus on various topics. This will hopefully give an opportunity for clubs to gain new ideas, ask questions, network and share any great practice to clubs across the county.

The programme is being put together through utilising valuable feedback from our club officials via a recent Club Development Survey that was sent to all secretaries. We would like to thank all those that provided their views and opinions.

We are pleased to announce the first two sessions below with 45% of clubs (that responded) wanting support on creating/updating their Club Development Plan and 65% seeking further guidance on Recruiting Volunteers.

Planning for the Future – Create or Update your Club Football Development Plan
When: Wednesday 16th December 2020
Time: 6:30pm – 7:30pm
Who: This session is suitable for Club Committee Members

This session will provide an overview of how your club can go about creating or updating your Football Development Plan. We will go through the areas of the plan and provide some ideas of what could be included to develop & grow your club for the future. There will be an opportunity for clubs to ask questions and share any ideas/good practice they might have.

Supporting Clubs to Recruit & Retain Volunteers 
When: Wednesday 20th January 2021
Time: 6:30pm – 8:30pm (including 10-minute comfort break)
Who: This session is suitable for Club Committee Members
Where: Online via Microsoft Teams

This session will aim to provide clubs with guidance and good practice from across the county on how they can recruit and retain volunteers throughout their club (from committee members through to team managers). The session will also provide direction on how clubs can Succession Plan to future proof their Club Committees. 

The session will be delivered by local organisation, Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action. Their role is to advise, advocate, develop, inform and train volunteers across the county.

In the New Year, we plan to release further sessions to support our club network throughout 2021.
