History of the Cup

The Ron Smith U13 Youth Cup was first contested in the 2004/05 season and is named after the long-serving West Oxfordshire-based referee, who was a strong supporter of youth football in the area. The inaugural competition was won by Evenlode Rangers. Oxford City Blue are the current holders of the title winning the competition following a 2-1 final victory over Launton. This is the first time the Hoops have lifted the trophy.
