Introduction and Welcome Event (DATE TBC)

Join us for our welcome event, where we'll be bringing together our NextGen members for the very first time.

In addition to finding out more about what to expect from NextGen over the course of the season and meeting fellow members, there will also be a host of activities and team building exercises to break the ice and help members get to know each other. 

Insight and Development in Coaching and Refereeing (DATE TBC)

NextGen members will be able to join us for an evening which will be split between developing new and current skills, as well as gaining insight into potential career opportunities within coaching and refereeing.

We'll also be welcoming a special guest speaker to provide incredible insight into all of the above.

Introduction to Committees and the Power of Social Media (Date TBC)

In this virtual event, we will be giving NextGen members insight into the background of clubs and leagues, focusing on how they're run and the influence and role that committees play.

The second part of the event will assess how to optimise social media usage at a club/league, to support awareness, development and engagement.

Impacting Your Community (DATE TBC)

This will be a virtual event, offering detailed examples and resources as to how to impact your local community.

This will focus on the specific use football as a common connection, embracing the connective power that the game possesses.

Coaching Workshop (DATE TBC)

Our in-person coaching workshop will build upon the insight obtained in our event held in October/November.

Featuring a special guest tutor, this workshop will provide an understanding into the role of the coach, techniques, impact on those around them - and signpost you to the next steps you can take should you wish to get into coaching.

Referee Workshop (DATE TBC)

Our in-person refereeing workshop will build upon the insight obtained in our event held in October/November.

Featuring a special guest tutor, this workshop will provide a greater understanding of the role/challenges facing referees, key skills, and details of the refereeing pathway.

Following conclusion of this workshop, NextGen members interested in pursuing a career in refereeing will be able to access The FA Referee Course at a discounted rate.

End of Season Celebration (DATE TBC)

As we bring the curtain down on the first full season of NextGen, we'll be bringing everyone together for a day of celebration.

This will also bring our NextGen members and Youth Leadership Team together for a day of workshops, reflection and activities to further connect members, and develop their skills.

We'll also be welcoming special guests to join us in celebrating NextGen members' accomplishments.
