Referee Mentor Co-ordinator Required

Could you be instrumental in moulding the next generation of Premier League referees?

The Oxfordshire FA Referee Training Team is looking to recruit a Referee Mentor Co-ordinator on a voluntary basis.

This will be a very rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting and developing new referees.  Becoming a new referee can be quite a daunting experience and we require someone who can spare a couple of hours per week to help newly qualified referees progress through their first six games by appointing Referee Mentors to support them in their early career.

Whilst a background in refereeing is not essential for this role, good administration and communication skills are essential.

In addition to supporting new referees you will also work closely with the Academy Co-ordinator and appoint Mentors to academy games, where you will be required to support established referees along their journey as well.

The role will require you to carry out quality assurance on Mentor reports and offer feedback when necessary.

If you are interested in applying for this exciting opportunity and would like to be part of developing referees in Oxfordshire, please complete the Mentor Application Form and send to Nigel Saverton, Workforce Manager.

For further information about the role please contact Nigel on 01993 894404.

The closing date for applications is 01 March 15.
