Chipping Norton Town Swifts are hosting five weeks of free football coaching for local players who are in school years 3, 4 and 5, starting Wednesday 23rd April. 

The sessions are open to boys and girls of all abilities and will be coached by FA qualified coaches. 

Session Details

Venue: Greystones, Burford Road, Chipping Norton, OX7 5UY (changing rooms and toilets are available)
Dates: 23rd, 30th April, 7th, 14th, 21st May
Time:  3:30 – 4:30 pm

The sessions will be on grass football pitches.  Football boots are not essential for these sessions and players can wear trainers if they wish.  Parents will be welcomed to watch the sessions and tea and coffee will be available. 

Chipping Norton Town Swifts are an FA Charter Standard Club where all age groups have at least one coach who is FA Level 1 qualified.  Martin Driscoll, who oversees a number of roles at the Club and is also leading on their recruitment programme states “We are very community spirited and want to provide playing opportunities for players within the local community.  These sessions are a great way to get new players involved and will give them a taste of what the club is about”.

Funding Support

Oxfordshire FA are supporting Chipping Norton Town Swifts through the Charter Standard Team Development Fund.  The aim of this funding is to assist Charter Standard Clubs in creating new teams and recruiting players.  Support is also offered around recruiting volunteers and creating community links such as working with local schools.  To find out how we can help your club please click here.
