New Equal Game Ambassador to lead Equal Game Workshop for Clubs at Kidlington FC

Our new Equal Game Ambassador will lead a workshop for clubs looking to grow or develop their female offer on Monday 27th March (7-9:30pm).

Now is the perfect time to get involved in growing female football at your club.

Our Equal Game Ambassador

emma oconnorWe're delighted to announce that Emma O’Connor is joining Oxfordshire FA as our Equal Game Ambassador. Along with delivering the Equal Game workshop, Emma will be supporting clubs to start creating women's and girls’ teams at their clubs.

Emma has previous experience in the sport industry, as well as education, and has worked with four London clubs during her time living there. During her work with these clubs, she has helped create positive opportunities for all and specialises in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).

Locally, Emma, a UEFA B Coach, founded Wheatley Oak FC to provide football opportunities for older women in the area.

Emma, and all of Oxfordshire FA, look forward to working with clubs for the benefit of the female game in Oxfordshire.

The Workshop

This introductory workshop will include support on marketing, workforce, finances and facilities amongst other areas and support clubs in making sure they have the correct structures and processes in place to provide the best place for women's and girls’ football to thrive.
