OFA launch special guest CPD series for 2023

We're looking forward to inviting some special guests to help coaches across Oxfordshire achieve their goals.

We are delighted to launch our Special Guest CPD Series, which will see a variety of different coaches with specialist areas of expertise deliver sessions for Oxfordshire coaches in 2023.

Workshop 1: Supercharge your Coaching Practice with Tom Hartley

When: Wednesday 15th February 2023
Time: 7pm – 8:30pm
Where: Online via Microsoft Teams

Objectives:

  • Help coaches with a range of ideas on how to get the most out of their coaching practice
  • Create a space for coaches to share experience, good practice and challenges when it comes to practice design
  • Encourage coaches to consider how they connect practice with competition
  • Generate ideas on how coaches can build player voices in to their practice design

For this first session, we are excited to be joined by Tom Hartley (pictured right) for a virtual workshop designed to support you supercharge your coaching practice.

Tom has worked as a football coach, and coach developer for over 20 years. As well as working for The Football Association on The FA Skills Programme and for UK Coaching as a Coach Programme & Pathway Manager, Tom has led the development of women's & girl's football at Arsenal Women, spent two years as assistant manager at Oxford United Women’s FC and is currently Director of Football at Swindon Town WFC.
