Supporting Clubs and Leagues to Recruit New Volunteers

Two training sessions on offer to our affiliated clubs.

We are delighted to be partnering up with local organisation, Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action to support clubs and leagues in the county to succession plan and recruit and retain volunteers.

This is due to receiving feedback from clubs and leagues in the county that this is an area of much needed support to help sustain the game locally.

This a fantastic opportunity to receive FREE guidance, support, and new ideas from experts in this field to take back to your clubs & leagues to implement.

Supporting Clubs & Leagues to Recruit Volunteers 

When: Wednesday 3 November 2021
Time: 7:30pm – 9pm (including 5-minute comfort break and 15 minutes at the end for Q&A)
Who: This session is suitable for Club & League Committee Members
Where: Online via Microsoft Teams

This session will aim to provide clubs with guidance and good practice from across the county on how they can recruit volunteers throughout their club (from committee members through to team managers). Do you struggle to recruit volunteers? This session could be for you!

Supporting Clubs & Leagues with Retaining Volunteers and Volunteer Succession Planning

When: Tuesday 9 November 2021
Time: 7:30pm – 9pm (including 5-minute comfort break and 15 minutes at the end for Q&A)
Who: This session is suitable for Club & League Committee Members
Where: Online via Microsoft Teams

This session will follow on from the session above and provide clubs & leagues ideas and direction on how they can look to retain their existing volunteer workforce. This session will provide guidance on how to help future-proof committees.

Please note that these sessions are open to Oxfordshire FA affiliated clubs and leagues only.
