Oxfordshire FA Relaunches New-Look Coaches Association

Oxfordshire FA are delighted to launch our new Coaches Association for coaches across the county to develop, learn and network.

The Association will see coaches develop their skills and learn through engaging in-person and virtual workshops held throughout the year, and network with others via our new online network.

Half season memberships for this season cost just £12.50, with a full season membership costing just £25.00 from July 2022. A typical season membership will run from July 1 to June 30.

Benefits include:

- Access to all Coach Development sessions, as well as exclusive Coaches Association workshops, throughout the season

- Exclusive access to the online community via BAND, which will provide session plans and resources (access for Over 18s only) – BAND is an app that allows us to share content with coaches within the Association, and will allow interaction and networking between members

- Half-price entry to our annual Coaches Conference on 28 May 2022 (further details to be confirmed in the coming weeks).

We hope it will encourage coaches to continue their development which will only help take football to a better place. We also hope that through building a network of coaches on BAND we can instil a culture of sharing between clubs and coaches.

"We are thrilled to welcome our ambassadors, who will benefit the programme with their expertise and will be sharing information and posing questions on the BAND app."

We are also excited to announce details of our first exclusive workshop for the OFA Coaches Association on March 2 - all Coaches Association members will be given access to book on to this event as soon as they have joined. The session will be led by Pete Sturgess, who is the FA’s Lead on the FA Foundation Phase, ensuring that young players are given the best opportunity to develop through small sided games and activities. This is one not to be missed!

In addition to the exclusive workshops, we are delighted to announce our OFA Coaches Association Ambassadors:
- Mark Haining – UEFA A Coach
- Ellen Hopkins – UEFA B Coach
