Football Community Comes Together to Reward Grassroots Heroes

On Friday 14th September over 100 people descended on the Kassam Stadium in Oxford for the Annual Oxfordshire FA Awards Evening.

Across 12 Awards categories, including The FA’s Grassroots Football Awards, 16 winners were rewarded for their work in grassroots football.

The 12 categories and award winners were:

Football Development Officer, James Shiplee said: “It was fantastic to be able to celebrate the achievements of our volunteers, clubs and leagues at the Awards Evening. This year we’ve rewarded more people than ever which is testament to the quality of the football community in Oxfordshire.”
