Join the newest adult league in Oxfordshire

Introducing Oxfordshire #SundayElevens, the new adult Flexi Football League

We are excited to announce that we are launching a brand new flexible format of football that will be starting in January at the brand new 3G facility in Bicester.

The informal 11-a-side league will run on Sunday evenings at the brand new 3G facility at Whiteland’s Farm Sports Ground in Bicester thanks to Cherwell District Council and Legacy Leisure.

The league is ideal for those who want a “quick fix” of football with 50 minute matches, rolling subs and shorter league seasons providing all the fun of the traditional game without the commitment of an 8 month season.

The aim of the league is to give adult male players the chance to continue playing the game regularly, whilst taking into consideration busy home and work life commitments that can make training mid-week and playing on Saturdays difficult to maintain.

Michael Thurlow, Football Development Manager said “This is a fantastic opportunity for adult males across Oxfordshire to get involved in the beautiful game in a more flexible way than perhaps they are used to.  We look forward to seeing as many teams play in the new leagues as possible for what is an exciting new addition to the area on an excellent new facility.”

Matches will take place on Sunday evenings with an 18:00 or 19:00 kick off from Sunday 7th January so grab your friends, family and colleagues and enter your team today!

Teams can register their interest by emailing Ellen Hopkins with your name, team name and contact details on Development@Oxfordshirefa.com.
