The winners of the first Oxfordshire FA Fair Play Tables have been revealed with twenty adult teams each inline to receive a £100 voucher based on the

The countywide Fair Play Tables were introduced to recognise and reward adult teams in OFA sanctioned leagues for good behaviour, based on their discipline records, with the top teams from each division receiving £100 voucher at the end of the season.

The initiative was one of a series of plans implemented at the start of the season to promote the key messages of The FA’s Respect programme, whilst also tackling a negative perception of behaviour in the game.

Steve Honey, Discipline & Governance Manager at Oxfordshire FA, said: “Oxfordshire FA look to reward clubs who show exemplary behaviour both on and off the field of play. By publishing these fair play tables, it gives clubs an opportunity to see how their discipline compares with all other teams within their league.

"This is a positive approach to discipline, educating all players and participants of the game which in turn will hopefully bring more enjoyment to football in Oxfordshire."
