In front of a lively crowd at Kidlington FC, Oxfordshire FA beat Nottinghamshire FA 5-1 when they met each other for the first time in this prestigious competition.

On a very wet pitch, both teams had chances early on to take the lead but neither side could capitalize. It took until the 36th minute for Oxfordshire FA to break the deadlock adding a second moments before the half-time whistle.

A lively second half saw Oxfordshire FA take the score to 4-0 before both teams saw the game out with a goal each in the final few minutes of the tie to make it 5-1 at the full time whistle.

The match finished 5-1 to the home side with Oxfordshire FA now through to the Quarter Finals of the competition where they visit Cheshire FA in a tough away game on 21st January 2017 for a place in the Semi-Finals.
