Referee Registration open for 2017/18

As the season races towards its conclusion with many extra games, cup finals and league playoffs it is also time for Referee Registration.

Registration with your County FA is important for a variety of reasons, foremost is that the leagues should only use referees who are registered, therefore you need to be registered to referee.

This year we would like as many referees as possible to complete this online through the Whole Game System (WGS). The WGS is a quick and safe way to carry out all your referee administration, including registration, and it will allow you full control over the information that is shared with clubs.
For those who have not already accessed the WGS, you need to follow this link:

Please enter your FAN and password (click the “forgotten password” button if you have forgotten or do not have a password), click the Referee Administration button at the top of the page and the registration button will then appear on the left hand side of the page. All you need to do is follow the on screen instructions and the process should not take longer than 4 minutes. There is a “how to” guide on each page and this can be accessed by clicking the camera icon. Also the system does work best through Google Chrome.

The online process is very simple but if you do encounter a technical problem, please contact Sam Charles via email

Before the registration process begins, you will be asked to complete your Equality and Diversity information. The OFA is fully committed to ensuring that we provide equal opportunities to all of our referees, regardless of gender, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnic background so it is important that you take time to complete this very short survey.

In addition, this season we are able to offer Oxfordshire referees the opportunity to take advantage of bespoke Referee Insurance at an additional cost of only £5! This product is designed to meet the demands and needs of referees, assessors, mentors and coaches that wish to protect themselves against consequences of accidents whilst officiating, training or travelling to a county affiliated competition or fixture. Full details of this special offer can be found below.
