The FA Umbro Fives is back with a brand new look, offering the best teams in the country the chance to play in the national final at Wembley Stadium and follow in the footsteps of legends.
Local Qualifiers will take place all over England throughout September and early October, with winners progressing to one of seven Regional Finals before the very best walk out under the iconic Wembley arch. If you make it to The FA Umbro Fives national final, you'll arrive at the stadium on the official England team bus, get your kit on in the famous changing rooms and walk onto the pitch for the national anthem.
After the match, the winners will receive a trophy from the Royal Box and get to celebrate on the pitch like true champions. You can find your nearest Local Qualifier and sign your team up by going to www.TheFA.com/UmbroFives.
The local qualifying heats for the men’s competition and entry details are now on the web site. Entry is only £25 per team, with the best men’s teams from the locals moving on to the regional finals. The national finals are at Wembley Stadium in November.
Registration for the women’s event will open on August 31st 2010. This year women’s teams will enter directly at the regional final stages, with the best teams from the regionals qualifying for the finals at Wembley Stadium. Entry for women’s teams is also only £25 per team.
It’ll be first come first served for the women’s teams once booking opens with a maximum of 25 teams able to enter each of the regional finals.
For the women these will be held on the following Saturdays:
• North - 16th Oct
• Midlands - 23rd Oct
• West - 30th Oct
• London and South East - 6th Nov
