The scheme, which provides 50 per cent funding for the replacement of old and dangerous posts or the purchase of new ones, is designed to support club's and organisations to use safe and appropriate posts in line with British Safety Standards.
Applications already submitted to the Foundation will still be processed as normal.
Since September 2008, Oxfordshire FA have supported clubs and organisations across the county to invest over £50,000 in new goalposts through the scheme.
The Goalpost Safety Scheme is the third of the Foundation's funding pots to close this year joining the Large Community Grant and Junior Kit Schemes as demand exceeds available funds.
