Iffley Hosts Small-Sided Women's Summer League

3:55 PM, Monday, 10 May 10.

Have you played a bit of football before or fancy giving it a go for the first time? Maybe not ready to join a club just yet…. A new opportunity to meet new people, have some fun and gain some confidence with the new women’s small-sided summer league starting next month.

An opportunity for new players or those returning to sport has arisen in the form of a 4 week summer league. The idea is to re-introduce football at the right level and provide a pathway into club football if desired. Players can either enter individually (a team will be made up on the day) or as a team.  Players must be at least 16 to play.

• Starts Wednesday 30th June (4 weeks)
• 7-8pm
• 5 a-side
• Astro pitches, Iffley Road, Jackdaw Lane, Oxford
• Register as a team or an individual (up to 8 players per team)
• £1 per player (to be paid at the session)

Please Note: If you are currently playing for a team, or have previously played, and wish to join the summer league, the club must not have played a higher standard than the Thames Valley Counties Women Football League.
