So...How have the Universities faired in previous games?
Cambridge have had more success with 16 wins compared to Oxford's 6. There have been two draws (1994 and 1996) but since 2007 there has had to be a defined winner and therefore the games have been decided by extra time and penalties. This happened in 2007 and 2008, with Oxford winning the first, but losing in 2008. In 2009, it was the first time that the Oxford Women's 1st and 2nd XI had been to Cambridge, winning the double on away turf! The scores 2-0 and 1-0 respectively. Previous results have varied from being close to 1-0 and 4-3 victories to 3 and 4 nil 'thrashings'.
