Free Youth Award Course for Charter Standard Club Coaches!

As part of the McDonalds Coach Education Programme, Oxfordshire FA are delighted to announce that we are able to offer a FREE FA Youth Award Module 1 Course for Charter Standard Club coaches.

The course is specifically aimed for those coaches who work with younger players and focuses as much upon the development of the child as it does upon football.

Owain Prosser, Football Development Officer for Oxfordshire FA, stated "The Award aims to provide coaches with a coaching process that meets the needs of all young developing players. With this in mind, much of the course focuses upon the how and why of coaching rather than just the what".

  • West Witney Sports Club, Witney, OX29 0NB.

Course Dates

  • Friday 7th May 2010     9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Saturday 8th May 2010 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Sunday 9th May 2010   9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Monday 10th May 2010 9.00am - 5.00pm

Course Cost

  • Free to CS Club Coaches!! (£40.00 refunable deposit will be required when booking your place.  Non attendance on the whole of the course may result in a non- refund.)

 Course Prerequisites

  • Minimum 1st4sport Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football

If interested please download the booking form in related documents and send it in to Oxfordshire FA.  Places are issued on a first come, first served basis and Charter Standard Clubs are allocated a maximum of 2 spaces.
