Oxfordshire FA offer a number of volunteering opportunities and is keen to reward those young volunteers currently working, or looking to work, within schools and clubs by offering them the chance to receive support and benefits through the OFA Young Leaders Programme.
The Oxfordshire FA Young Leaders Programme targets young people aged 14-19 who are interested in volunteering in Football. The programme aims to guide and support the young leaders into learn new skills and put them to use in a safe and suitable environment. Oxfordshire FA recognise and reward young leaders who achieve 10, 25 and 50 hours volunteering which then leads into the National Step into Sport programme awards which recognises 50, 100 and 200 hours. There are also further benefits available for community based volunteering including T-Shirts, Rain Jackets and Free Places on Oxfordshire FA Coaching Courses.
Oxfordshire FA also offer Young Leaders the chance to attend annual Leadership Camps. The Camp also allows the opportunity to identify the strongest leaders who will be offered the chance to attend the FA’s National Leadership Camp.
