Module 4 requires the candidate to referee 6 games of 11v11, some of which may be observed by a mentor.
Module 5 is a call back session which will consolidate all the training to that point.
The courses are available to anyone, male or female, aged 14 or over and will provide the candidate with the skills required to effectively referee a game of football.
Course costs for 2009/2010 are:
Age 14-15: £35 (of which £10 is refunded on completion of the 5 modules).
Age 16+: £55 (of which £30 is refunded on completion of the 5 modules).
Additionally, all candidates aged 18 and over will be required to complete a FA CRB check for which there is an additional £12 cost.
Within the cost of each course the referee candidate will receive a copy of the Laws of the Game, a Referee's Training Manual, the first years annual registration with the Oxfordshire FA and a starter pack (including T-shirt, whistle, red & yellow cards).
