If a league achieves Charter Standard Status it will show that it is offering players in grassroots football a high quality, safe, enjoyable experience that is nationally recognised.

By achieving Charter Standard status, a league will:
• Gain recognition that it is committed to a quality experience for all
• Gain recognition as a well run league
• Have procedures in place to improve standards of behaviour
• Demonstrate a commitment to investing in its workforce
• Have a clear development plan in place
• Have an agreed support package with the CFA
• Will be perceived more favourably by its member clubs.
